The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is offered with a powerful 6.2-litre V8 that delivers 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic that provides linear accelerations and smooth, imperceptible gear changes. This engine gives Escalade owners the very best of the performance and luxury world, offering brisk accelerations when needed, and being refined when cruising.
That said, the Cadillac Escalade adds an extra powertrain this year, a 3.0-litre Duramax diesel that delivers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This engine offers as much torque as the V8, but with better efficiency.
The Cadillac Escalade can tow up to 7,500 pounds.
