2026 Cadillac OPTIQ-V Debuts with 519 HP and Built-In NACS Port

Cadillac announced the 2026 OPTIQ-V, making it General Motors' first vehicle with a built-in NACS (North American Charging Standard) port. This electric performance SUV joins the fifth generation of Cadillac's V-Series portfolio with 519 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Max mode.
The OPTIQ-V brings electric power to V-Series performance heritage. Production starts fall 2025, with the vehicle heading to Canadian dealerships equipped with advanced charging technology and performance-focused engineering that delivers 0-96 km/h acceleration in just 3.5 seconds.
Electric Performance Power
The 2026 OPTIQ-V has standard dual-motor all-wheel drive powered by an 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack. In Velocity Max mode, drivers get the full 519 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque for maximum acceleration. The electric drivetrain provides up to 443 kilometres of range on a full charge.
Performance technologies include Launch Control for consistent straight-line acceleration and Competitive Mode for vehicle agility. Standard Brembo performance front brake calipers offer stopping power with available blue or red calipers accented with V-Series logos.
NACS Charging Built In
The built-in NACS port provides direct access to fast charging networks across North America without requiring adapters or additional equipment. This native integration simplifies the EV ownership experience.

- 21-inch satin graphite alloy wheels with laser-etched V-Series badges
- Two limited edition exterior colours: Magnus Metal Frost and Deep Ocean Tintcoat
Interior appointments include Santorini Blue accents throughout the cabin, genuine woven carbon fiber décor on the center console, and V-Series badging on the steering wheel, sill plates, and floor mats.
Tech and Safety Systems
The OPTIQ-V includes a 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display and 19-speaker AKG Studio Audio System with Dolby Atmos capability. Standard Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance comes with a 3-year plan included.
V-Mode allows drivers to save performance-focused settings accessible via the V button on the steering wheel. The system integrates with the Drive Mode app and connects to various traction management features for spirited driving.
