2020 Cadillac XT4 vs. 2020 Lexus NX

The exterior of the XT4 draws some interesting comparisons to the Lexus NX. Although the NX is slightly longer (+40 mm), the wheelbase of the XT4 is 120 mm wider, giving the vehicle more stability around tight turns, traffic, and roads that are anything but straight. The XT4 has a simple engine lineup, but it still delivers more than the NX with a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It delivers an assertive 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque that begins to peak at only 1500 rpm, which is lower than the NX’s same torque that begins to peak at 1650 rpm. The NX’s best engine delivers slightly less horsepower. 

The petrol engines of both vehicles attain a similar gas mileage, with the XT4 earning a better highway fuel consumption rating of 8.2 L/100 km over the NX’s rating of 8.5. The XT4 also has a lower combined fuel consumption rating.

With more room for luggage, it’s also easier to take your friends and family on longer trips in the XT4. The rear seat has best-in-class legroom at 1003 mm, which is 86 mm more than the NX. The XT4 also adds 33 mm of front legroom and up to 29 mm of front headroom over the NX.
